Penang Floating Mosque
Penang Floating Mosque is a seaside mosque built on stilts over the water, featuring Moorish-inspired architecture and panoramic coastal views.
Located a 25-minute drive from Fifth Avenue Hotel Penang along the coastal road to Tanjung Bungah. Rapid Penang buses also serve the area (approx. 45 minutes).
Visitors can admire the architecture and seaside setting. Modest dress is required (shoulders and knees covered). Non-Muslims may view the exterior and certain designated areas; entry to prayer halls may be restricted during worship times.
Open daily. No entrance fee. Early mornings or late afternoons are best for photography and avoiding prayer times. Respectful behavior is expected. Parking is available.
