Asia Camera Museum
Asia Camera Museum, located in a restored heritage shophouse in George Town, Penang, features over 1,000 vintage cameras from brands like Leica, Nikon, and Kodak. It showcases the evolution of photography through engaging exhibits and interactive displays.
From Fifth Avenue Hotel Penang, walk north on Lebuh Macallum, turn left onto Lebuh Carnarvon, then right onto Lebuh Muntri. The museum is at No. 71. The 1 km walk takes 12–15 minutes. A drive takes about 5 minutes.
Admission is RM25 for adults, with discounts for children and students. Guided tours are available. Photography is allowed, but flash may be restricted in some areas. Comfortable shoes are recommended. Weekday mornings are less crowded.
