Batik Painting Workshop
Located in George Town or Teluk Bahang, the Batik Painting Workshop offers a hands-on introduction to the traditional wax-resist dyeing art. Participants create their own batik piece from start to finish, guided by experienced artisans.
From Fifth Avenue Hotel Penang, the George Town studio is a 10–15 minute walk. The Teluk Bahang location is about 45 minutes by car.
Sessions include a demonstration and all materials. Wear old clothes; aprons are provided. Weekday mornings are less crowded. Prices start at RM35 for a one-hour session. Booking in advance is recommended.
