Macallum Street Night Market
Macallum Street Night Market is a popular local pasar malam (night market) held every Monday evening along Jalan Macallum in George Town.
Located a 10-minute drive from Fifth Avenue Hotel Penang.
The market offers a wide variety of affordable street food, including char koay teow, satay, and local desserts, as well as clothing, accessories, and household items. It is a great place to experience local culture.
Open Monday evenings from approximately 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Arrive early (around 6:30 PM) to avoid the largest crowds and secure parking. Bring cash in small denominations, as most vendors do not accept cards. Family-friendly, but can be busy.
