Penang Ghost Museum
Penang Ghost Museum is a unique attraction in George Town, showcasing ghost folklore from various cultures through life-size dioramas, interactive displays, and themed rooms.
Located a 10-minute walk from Fifth Avenue Hotel Penang.
Highlights include exhibits of mythical creatures like the Pontianak and Jiang Shi, augmented reality experiences, and photo opportunities with costumes. The atmosphere is enhanced with lighting and sound effects.
Open daily. Admission: ~RM18 for Malaysian adults, ~RM36 for non-Malaysian adults (check online for promotions). Photography is allowed (no flash). Weekday mornings are less crowded. The museum is stroller-friendly but may be intense for young children.
