The Habitat Penang Hill
The Habitat Penang Hill is a sustainable ecotourism site that offers a low-impact exploration of Penang's unique rainforest biodiversity and natural beauty.
It is located at the summit of Penang Hill, accessible by a 30 to 40-minute drive from Fifth Avenue Hotel Penang to the Lower Station, followed by a funicular railway ride.
Highlights include the Langur Way Canopy Walk and the Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk, which offer stunning panoramic views and a unique perspective on the forest canopy. The park also features interactive trails, a Butterfly Bank, and educational displays that highlight its conservation efforts.
A visit to The Habitat can be combined with other Penang Hill attractions.
Comfortable walking shoes, insect repellent, and light layers are recommended.
